Today I knew it was going to rain, my hair told me so. you see during the monsoon whenever I have a superb hair day as in i m really happy about my hair it rains it pours messing up my hair. I don’t mind it at all because i love rains and I can tolerate bad hair for four months.
We were shooting outdoors and it was obviously disrupted several times through out the day but what I am trying to tell here is what happened today.
So during the shoot I had to go out to run some errands as usual and i went from to goregaon to khar to bandra to khar to goregaon then andheri etc. in one of the many rickshaw rides I fell asleep. You see I had woken up at 4 in the morning and when the weather is so awesomely beautiful I couldn't stop myself from catching a few winks. Any way here I was in a rickshaw breathing in the first smell of rains the damp earth more like cement, feeling the cool breeze and jumping every time a biker splashed muddy water towards my rickshaw. I am proud to admit I managed to sleep amidst this all. As I my riskshaw maneuvered through different lanes I drifted in and out of sleep. During one of the drift outs I sensed something flying behind me, near the back hole / window of the rickshaw, I almost jumped only to see it fall right next to me on the seat. On careful examination only with my eyes [I did not touch it] I saw the branding 'VIP' it was a gent's underwear. Not just any but the one with legs not the v cut ones. it was a dirty blue colour with big brown rusty patches on it. It was definitely being used as a rag I’m sure. I continued the rest of the journey with the underwear [which I am sure was of the rickshaw driver] quietly. For some time I sat at the farthest corner as if I would get infected by it, then I kept my bag between us to avoid seeing completely.
As I reached my destination I paid the money and got off only to be called loudly by the driver 'madam aapka samaan reh
